Edgar joined Yonas & Phillabaum, LLC in August 2026 as a Paralegal, bringing a disciplined work ethic, cross-cultural communication skills, and a strong background in business management to the team. Originally from Portugal, Edgar is trilingual and provides vital translation support in Spanish, Portuguese, and English for the firm’s diverse clientele throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Having played competitive soccer his entire life and competed as a collegiate student-athlete, Edgar translates the high-stakes teamwork, resilience, and time-management skills honed on the field directly into managing complex legal cases and supporting daily firm operations. Outside of the office, Edgar remains highly active in the athletic community as a marathon runner and strength training enthusiast, and he enjoys closely following international soccer.
